Mos Eisley is a fictional spaceport town on the fictional planet Tatooine, and one of the settings of the acclaimed 1977 film Star Wars.[1]
History[]
Eisley was built around 100 BBY (100 years before the battle of Yavin and the destruction of the Death Star). Around the fall of the Galactic Empire in 4 ABY, Eisley had a population of at least 40,000 to 60,000 people. The town maintains a spaceport, and is known for crime.
